Afri-dance classes

To get into our bodies, find connection with the Earth and to ignite your joyful expression. With these classes Zoë de Waal intends to share her love of dancing and especially the grounded lively feeling of traditional West African dance. She will teach some interesting steps, taking the time to anchor them in the body. These movements bring you into relationship with rhythm, with nature, and let you access the wellspring of life force within you! Together we nourish our bodies and spirits and have a sense of celebrating our aliveness. Come home to your body and enjoy what it has to offer you!

Saturday mornings from 18 May, 10.00 to 11.00
OBS ‘t Spectrum, Ariaweg 115, Amersfoort
€10 per class or €50 for 6

Sharing circle: Work & purpose

You are warmly invited to a community sharing for both men and women.

Our work is an important subject in this human experience, and perhaps having more of an importance nowadays is also our sense of purpose with that! What are you spending your time on? Is it fulfilling work? Or is there something else that you would like to be doing?

We will have an open space to share our feelings and our wisdom with one another around this theme. We’ll take some moments for introductions, connecting to ourselves and each other, sharing (uninterrupted space for you to speak, for as long or short as you like), and then flow into some relaxed discussion (if that feels appropriate).

Sunday 26 May, 14.30 to 16.30
Sandenburg 20, Amersfoort
€5

Nature Experience

With the warmer weather let’s venture outdoors, skilfully led by Abe van der Veen. In this walk in the beautiful forest of Den Treek close to Amersfoort/Leusden we will experience nature intensely by way of playful exercises in which you – one by one – open your senses of hearing, sight, smell and touch. We will also make contact with the energy of the forest and of some of the trees. The exercises have the intention to open your eyes to the beauty of nature and will be accompanied by short, inspiring stories. We will take approximately two and a half hours to explore only a small area with a walk of about 2 kilometres.

Sunday 16 June, 13.30 to 16.00
Parkeerplaats Zuid Nimmerdor, Paradijsweg, Leusden
€15
